We shall see how the infomercial pays off for King of the Planet but I think he wears thin. Beyond all soaring rhetoric, there is not much there there. He ultimately does not have much to say or offer because he lacks substance. He is an empty suit or more accurately an actor placed there by people who are really running the show. When he goes off script, it goes very badly, like with Joe the Plumber. It took me a while to realize why the Obama Children songs are so insipid, I mean more insipid than most children's songs. I mean worse than anything I heard Barney sing. The reason is there really is no substance behind Obama. There is only a few catch phrases like : Change, Hope, Progress, Workers of the World Unite, Yes We Can (from Bob the Builder). It is hard to construct a song with only these to work with. The results makes Barney sound like Shakespeare. This is my favorite of the Obama Children's song remixed with different video.
