My Trip To Costco

My son sat in the ride on Cadillac Escalade and told me he wanted one. I told him to ask Santa. He repeated, "Ask Santa car?" over and over again.  It does have a working cup holder and maybe a working FM radio. It did have a sticker that looked like a radio. It was a plug in vehicle and not a hybrid. Costco wanted 3 beans for the Cadillac and I realized that way things are going, we may be able to buy a real Cadillac for not much more. My daughter has a Lightening McQueen.  We bought it for her 3rd birthday and it wasn't a wise choice. At 3 my daughter is too small to reach the pedal and doesn't know how to steer either.  If she learns how to not use a turn signal, she'd be ready for LA freeway driving.  We had a great moment last year where she sat, bolstered by a pillow, drove the car forward and before she could crash into our fence I ran to the car to throw it in reverse where she would zoom backwards heading for our tree where I would run to throw it in forward again.  This I repeated for about 10 minutes, my exhaustion only exceeded by my laughter. My daughter wanted to drive McQueen to Legoland in Carlsdbad, California.  Geographically this is about 100 miles south of me.  Given that my daughter hasn't mastered steering, I thought it prudent to take the minivan.  McQueen hasn't been used much and lives under a tarp. Anyway Santa is bringing matching Mini Coopers because my wife and I are insane or Santa is. Here a couple of photos of the Coopers and their matching boxes http://www.flickr.com/photos/32730061@N06/3103556197/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/32730061@N06/3104386632/
