The Imagination Movers on Disney modified their theme song for the holidays to sing,"It's Christmas, and Hannukah too. Happy Kwanzaa!" One of these things doesn't belong with the others..... Can you guess which one is a made up holiday? My wife's work had a holiday party for disadvantaged kids and they had tables to make Christmas ornaments, Hannukah ornaments and Kwanzaa ornaments. The idea was a little silly as most of the kids were probably Roman Catholic as latinos. The problem I have with Kwanzaa is not only that it is made up. Techinically the 4th of July is made up. The problem is that it is made up for the wrong reasons. Christmas and Hannukah even are religious oriented holidays. I know techinically Hannukah is not a holiday in the Torah but it does represent a victory of monotheism over polytheism. Kwanzaa is neo-marxism pure and simple. This is offensive. It wasn't Kwanzaa that drove the abolitionist movement and the subsequent civil rights movement. It was Christianity. When you understand the history of Kwanzaa you realize that blacks would be better off celebrating Festivus
