He did it. I know he would. I wrote about this back in November and my opinion hasn't changed.
http://republicanevangelist.blogtownhall.com/2008/11/10/obama_plans_to_reverse_bush_policy_on_stem_cell_research_and_off_shore_drilling.thtml . Other posts I wrote on Obama and the abortion issue :

http://republicanevangelist.blogtownhall.com/2009/01/24/elections_have_consequences.thtml . Anyone who is pro life who voted for Obama and the Democrats, shame on you. Articulate black people can support the killing of human life too.
Although I would add another constituency to the groups that President Obama will never betray, teachers unions. Even my wife cheered the President taking a stand about merit pay for teachers.
http://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2009/03/president_obama_pushes_merit_p.html . Unfortunately I told her it is meaningless. He gives great rhetoric and often says the right things but signs laws that run contrary. Remember that moment in one of the debates, it may have been Rick Warren, where Obama says he was wrong about opposing welfare reform and that it has been a good thing in retrospect? Well Obama and the Democrats gutted it in the trillion dollar stimulus bill signed into law last month.
http://www.kansascity.com/273/story/1046780.html . He and the Democrats just ended the DC voucher program despite it's nominal costs and enormous benefit to black children in DC.
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jA4O8gRWYpVPgR3bcCSphalW1qRgD96REDO81 The program which was a huge success enabled poor children in DC to go to private school and have their tuition paid by the program. Why end it? The teachers unions didn't like it.
Remember the no lobbyist pledge?
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/03/obama_breaks_his_n_lobbyist_vo.html . Broken. Remember the no pork pledge?
http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2009/03/11/ap6154899.html . Now there is good pork and bad pork. I am not sure where the McRib falls on that spectrum.
The point is you judge someone by their actions and not their words and his actions speak loudly as to who he is and what he believes.
P.S. I am not writing as much here because I am writing more on Twitter. Follow me there. I am GOPEVANGELIST.
